Randy, a friend of mine has an M-Coupe. Granted he has alot of money in the suspesion, that car handles incredibly well and is fast to boot. I really like that car and if i were too skip the 951 route, id defenetley spring for one of those. I really love the way the car looks. I cant tell if its ugly or beautiful, such a distinct look to it.

I am having a hard time finding any for sale around here, thus I havent been able to test drive any (I've driven several E36 M3's though...) I have been to 3 BMW dealers, and not a one even knew what an M coupe was, w/o my explaining. All three pointed to a 2 door E46 M3 and said...."this is an M coupe".
I think the car is hot, and for a while I was thinking of an M roadster, but the coupe is just so much cooler. It will be a lot cooler once I do suspension work, and turbocharge it. Now I just have to decide if I want to keep my 951 or not...

I surprised no one has mentioned the mirrors yet.

Wow! Didn't expect that one. Looks incredible if you ask me. And I want those wheels.

edit: except for the mirrors...bleh. Would have stuck with stock, personally, or 968's, but:

"Not everybody thinks like I do. People do things differently than i would, and that's okay."

btw, I'm clueless as to who makes those wheels... I see some sort of crest in the middle, but I've not seen them before? Where to get?

Keith- I noticed them, but, thoguht they were 968 mirrors- wow... they are really different- they look like they mount to the pillar... how do they mount? Do you have any close-ups? They look a little smaller than the 968's too- would probably be a lot better for aerodynamics.....

Hm. Interesting. I'll have to look into those/find out if that's what they are. Thanks Robby.

They look similar to a few of the wheels at their site, but I didn't see any matches...

If I remember correctly, there were some factory-produced cars like this, and one was given to Ferdinand Porsche as a birthday present. Not sure where I picked up that info, but maybe a search would turn something up.

Trevor- I thought they just looked like some of the Speedlines I've seen, but, possibly Ronal? Another possibilty would be Millie's, but, I really doubt that.... If I think of any other's I'll post back.... I assume you checked most of the bigger wheel sites, like Wheel Enhancement & Tire Rack, etc...?

I think it looks much better than stock, I hate the rear hatch that much. Way too much glass.

Any of you guys ever see the BMW M coupe?

And, oh yeah, the correct term is break, not brake.
