"937" refers to the 924 Carrera GT and it's variants, if I recall correctly.

I just see it as pointless... Thats all.

And price isnt the ONLY consideration...

It pops up here every so often. I think it is the hottest wagon I have ever seen. Being a big wagon fan I have always wanted one.

I really like it. The one at the top, looks like most of the parts were donated by a VW fox.
I know of a worthless 944, and a wrecker's with a ton of VW's, for dirt cheap.... If only I had skills with a welder!

Yes indeedy ! I've got some pictures some where of an Artz converted Carrera GT. The modern conversion looks great, serious head turner.

Had a quick google turned up this Artz 928

And this toy Artz GT

The one on top is based on a 928 clearly from the door/taillight/front fender area.

Interesting- not exactly what I would want, but, it looks as if it was done very well- I like the interior, although I noticed the cubby on the right side- why not a few more of those &/or at LEAST one on the left too? I like things like that- can never have to many pockets to lose things in... :-) Anyway, it looks like they did a great job & that's cool- I appreciate it for what it is- if it were cheap & had a 951, S2, 968 engine, would make a good wagon, BUT, no rear seat still- the leg room is useless, &, unless they changed the roofline back there, then, you really do not have a rear seat. IMO, the best wagon ever was the 2.7L TTV6 Audi S4- I hate that they pulled this Detroit V8 stuff on us & am not too hip to the interior changes ever... I want a 2001 S4, amongst many other things, like.... getting my suspension worked out in this car- Bilstiens or Konis??? Anyway.... thanks for sharing that Keith....

I seen the red one several times in the past in previous post - to be honest it never did anything for me. But the silver one - now that is plain sexy. Personally, I hate to see 944's get riced out, but I don't think this is in the same league. These - to me - are excellent examples of maintaining the original lines of the car and creating a very exciting concept car.

Robby - I agree that this isn't a "pratical" wagon. No way, no how. But if you have to drive a wagon, then this one would "haul" you around in style! I see this as a great attention getter as well as a grocery getter - would make a great platform to haul the dog around or load skis (or surboards) for recreation. I don't really see it as a substitute for a Cayanne - then again I don't care for the Porsche SUV anyway. Too much chrome on the outside - the Cayanne that is.

That's awesome! I wonder what the towing capacity is, just imagine towing a 951 track car in one of those.

Another picture of the original 924 CGT conversion, still can't find any really decent colour shots.

Don't you think if it was stretched a bit it would make a great hearse ? You may be "late" but you'll definitely get to your own funeral in time in one of those !

Keith- I see.... completely agree- it's actually fairly practical, day to day & haulingwise for a two-person wagon.... :-)

towing capacity? I doubt it would have too much- even if turbo charged the TQ would be too high up in the rpms- you could do it, but, I just dont think it would do too much too effectively. Now, drop a turbo charged 968 engine in it & you might have something- the extra low-end & extra boost? Still not the best way to go about it. Maybe drop one of those V8 conversions into it, like that place.... Renegade does for our cars.... THAT might be the ticket to at least solve the towing issue- would drink a lot of fuel though....
