Default Best way to remove paint w/o damaging rubber?

As title says, im going to do some work on my brakes, the calipers have been re-painted by the PO.

I want to remove that oil paint, what should i use so that the piston seals don't get damaged?

Paint remover, brake fluid? what? these would cause problems (i tried them before )

TIA
Hussam
