Thumbs up

Having lived in Chicago all my life all of these methods work well. Short of putting it in a garage I use the WD-40 method only because it keeps it lubricated for a while but it does collect grime.

My only concern with WD-40 is that I hear it's hard on nylon and other plastic. I could be wrong, but I'm not willing to take that risk.
