I have a short shifter in my car and it fits and all, but there isn't any difference because of the tramission tunnel blocks the connecting rod. Is there a way around it or can you cut that peice out?

my experience with short shifters in the 944 is the syncros never fully engage...what type os short shift kit do you have?
