For a moment there it sounded like alcohol might be involved.

I saw a car do a burnout on the dyno before, if that counts.

I love that vid, 1078 HP to the rear out of a car you can probably get for 2 grand in the autotrader and after about 20,000 in mods

I found pics somewhere I think at ATL dragstrip - 1 car gets on the mobile dyno, falls off the side. Next car gets on mobile dyno, falls of the side. This dyno was basically a flatbed semi trailer - so they fell a pretty good ways too. I wonder if I can find them again... I'll look ;P

If I could get a GN in as good of shape as my 944 for $2k or even the $3k that I paid for the p-car I would have bought that instead. In-a-heartbeat. Like a 951 they can be made scary fast for little money.

Ryan

edit: Like this one. Its about the same condition as my p-car.

I took a customers 93 Z-28 with a 383 stroker to kenny Brown for a dyno session and verify the money he spent witme!! I watched KB himself take the straps outta the the package brand new and his gophers strapped it down On the way to 4th gear on the second pull one of them broke. He heard the snap and immediately got on the brakes luckily it was wasn't while wide open, it was in 3rd gear about 4500 gettin ready to go to fourth for the pull. Thankls god the car wasn't hurt and it didn't come completely off just one side about half off the roller. Imagine the owners surprise when I told him his car broke a dyno strap! It only made 435HP naturally aspirated btw. The strap must've been bad outa the box.

Ohh yeah I got a video of Dan Millen's car pegging the dyno at only 120 mph wheel speed, bear in mind this car routinely goes well over 200 in the quarter.

Last time I went to get my car smogged, the smog tech drove this guys volvo off the other end of the dyno. There was an incline with the rollers at the top, then about a two and a half foot drop, tech never hit the brakes just drove it off the end and plowed the front end into the ground. I found another shop to smog my car at after that.

ouch I would be ticked! Yeah I'd def find another shop. I heard of a listers car if I remember right getting put on with the front wheels until another tech told the dumba$$ that he had the wrong wheels before he messed up his car
