Default 968 MO30 sway bars

Alright so i just ordered some 968 MO30 sway bars front and rear. I would like to lower to car. I like to track the car about 4 times a year. If i were to have the rear bar at the stiffest setting would i be able to run Weltmeister 200 springs with about the same balance as the car was stock. I really dont want to mess around with torsion bars as the will become to costly for me.
thanks

some say using the 19mm bar will offset the increased understeer you'll get from stiffer springs up front. haven't experienced this particular combination myself, though.

the nice thing about those bars is the three way adjustability, which will allow you some experimentation. you could also play with tire pressure a bit and shock settings to fine tune if you have adjustable shocks.

yeah, tire pressures with adjustable shocks are plenty in my case to dial out the oversteer, or understeer. This is on the autocross course of course, or the same applys to the track. With the 968 rear sway you may be able to get away with 250# fronts, but I have not tried this setup. I have the front turbo springs with the stock sway bars, and adjustable konis. The rear ones are set to full stiff, rebound, and dialing out understeer/oversteer is very easy.

What is your setup?

That should be a fairly decent set up. I would probably consider NOT putting the larger 968 M030 front sway on there with the 200lb front springs. You'd probably still get some understeer at the limit with that, even with the rear 19mm sway on the stiffest setting. A smaller 26 or 27mm front sway would be a better bet, IMHO.

One must keep in mind that the 30mm front M030 sway was created for a car that was heavier.

Donn't forget to order the rear droplinks to install the rear sway if your car did not come equipped with one from the factory....

Good luck!
