Default Merry Christmas to whomever claims this first...

I was given a PET dealer CD in the 1280 x 1024 format. Since I am a Mac person I cannot use it. So, I'll send the CD to whomever claims it first and agrees to not sell it!!!

The PET dealer CD is in PDF format. The catalog should open right in Adobe Acrobat so it will work on your apple. Worst case is you have do download AA reader free online to use it. This is all true if it is the one purchased from the dealer and not a copy of the one "used" at the dealer.

It's not PDF, it's Windows based... I know, I know... that's why I gave it away...

OK guys, I am old, and working on killing more brain cells as we speak, but what the heck is a PET from the dealer? Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

PET is the parts ordering system used by Porsche, illustrations with part numbers linked to the drawings. The best part about it is the detailed illustrations. This is what the main page looks like.

It's the scanned service-manuals that's in PDF format, as images. Someone was talking about OCR'ing the whole thing so we can do text-searches of the manuals... whatever happened to that effort?

Ok. The new ones that Porsche just released late this year are the whole PET in AA format. I guess they figured out that everyone was selling their real PET so they came out with their own version.
We picked up a few stacks of them so we have them for a little while on Rennbay.
