Just saw meet the Fockers tonight. THe movie is hillarious so eveyone should go see it to geta good laugh.

Also there is one thing in it u all will love. A red 944 Turbo or S2 (not sure which one) makes an appearance as a car which a mechanic is working on (too hop up). In a way also a refrance to us as we love to work on our cars and keep them in good shape. At the time i said "awsome a 944 turbo" and my gf and other friends just told me to be quit and shook their heads as they know of my addiction to Porshes.

If any of u can tell or know let me know if it was an S2 or a Turbo.

from the outside (besides the badging at the rear) isn't it impossible to tell the difference between an s2 and a turbo?

The S2 has "16 Ventiller" badging on both front fenders. Arent the Turbo wheels slightly different from the D90s the S2s have as well, or did the 89 Turbo get the actual D90s too?

Nope, the 89 Turbo had ClubSport wheels which look similar to the D90s, but are definitely different. I didnt' get a good look at the car, but when they drove up in the uber-motorhome, I saw the kid grinding something under the hood that sparks go off. Hope they didn't kill a perfectly good Porsche for this movie. I highly recommend everyone go see this movie, I haven' laughed so hard since... ever!

THE MOVIE was really funny. Soon as i seen the car i smiled and my girlfriend looked over and knew what i was smiling about. I love porsches

Here ya go! I guess the 16-V badge isnt the quickest thing most would pick up. You can easily pass it for side-stripping if you didn't have a clear view.

Time to bring this back from the dead. I just went and saw this with a few friends tonight, one of which is another Rennlister, Chrissy (oduporschegurl). When the red 951 popped up on screen, we both leaned forward and smiled at each other... the others gave us weird looks, hahahaha. Thank God for Porsches
