Default Help! Need to reinstall rear turbo valence

I am getting ready to reinstall the rear valence on my 951. All 5 of the caged nuts were ripped from underneath the mounting points. The mounting points were repaired.

My question to those that have installed one of these is what do I need to do in order to reinstall these caged nuts so that I can tighten the valence up to the body of the car? I don't believe that the nuts are held inside the rear hatch, rather they are placed underneath and inside the bumper somehow.

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.

The side ones are studs that are connected to the valance itself. The nuts are accesed in the storage compartments on each side of the hatch area. I can't remember the bottom ones though.

Excellence mag ran an article on installing the rear turbo valance on an N/A, even including the Porsche part # for the hardware kit. This was about 1-1/2 or 2 years ago, I saved the mag (its at home, I'm at work), I'll try to find it. It should give you the info/pics you need.

Thanks for the info. guys. I searched the archives for quite awhile last night and came up empty handed in regards to the Excellence Article.

Tifo's links in the URL that Techno Duck posted are dead, but I think I have enough info. to give it a go. The pic from the shop manual is pretty accurate, that is how I removed what was left of my old valence. The four side holes for the valence mounting studs were already pre-drilled at the factory for my car so no worries there.

What i'm still wondering is if the caged nuts got ripped out will I have to use standard hardware and if so I just don't see a way to hold it with a wrench while tightening the allen head bolts down.

Thanks!

Exactly what I'm doing to the Callaway. . . assuming I can't find me a Euro kit.
