Thanks for the replies. I think the route that I will take will be preservation, with only "bolt on" modifications. I did not think about my 89 being rare, but as I look for parts for it I am realizing that being the last year of the 944 NA might be something worth keeping close to factory. Plus I think the wife ordered a Porshce NA Certificate of Authenticity for Christmas...

I gots the purple neon inside and out, and I'll send pics once I get the folger's label polished off the can and mounted on the exhaust......
