My cams were welded and reground at 189k by a shop when I just purchased the car. If I recall the shop charged me $875 for both cams. I am sure you can find somebody to do it for less than that.

Phil Threshie can build them up with a plasma spray which doesn't produce as much heat as welding and he can custom grind them. He can be contacted through www.928developments.com

I sent my cams to WebCams to be reground with a slightly more agressive profile. I am very pleased with the work. I would seriously consider looking into this option.
