All:

Will 17x7 ET55 and 17x9 ET55 fit a 968???? Do I need spacers?

They will fit fine, with no spacers.

Sounds like you're considering some stock setup off of a 993. Keep in mind the Porsche recommeded setup for the 968 is 7.5 up front with 9s in the rear for 17's. If you're streeting the car, the 7/9s should be fine, if you plan on doing any track, the 7's can cause understeer with the 9 rears if you push the car too hard.
