hey everyone sorry i took so long to reply. i was busy all day with car stuff and what not. . anyway, the guy doesn't even have a car right now. *laughter* he had a 240sx but he sold it because he can't have a car on campus. i will definitely tell him all that i've read here about pasha and the gt2 944 and what not, but i won't argue. it's not worth my time like you said. last night i chose to just ignore it but vent here instead

haha hey dan. the mut doesn't drive a car right now actually. he can't have a car at his college campus right now so he sold his 240sx

you know, how the whole conversation was started was not only when i talked about the tuning i had done today. i had also mentioned the RUF article in the dallas morning news...(check out my previous thread) i playfully pointed out that a 944 was on the lift in the major picture for the article and he said "that doesn't belong there" in a demeaning manor. of course RUF doesn't have an actual tuned 944 but still he made the intent of his statement quite clear.

I attended the Rennsport Reunion2 in April where Porsche paid tribute to 50 years of the 911, the question that came to mind at that moment was "When it comes times to honor the 924/944 model and its distinction of saving Porsche in the '80s will Porsche make such a tribute ???"

If you like your car, then that's great, who cares what the other guy says. The other guy just has different taste in cars. Just don't fuel his fire. There are others who appriciate your car.

Well don't listen to his crap just ignore it, after all your the one with a car. I actually met a close friend of mine, kinda like this guy. His name is Jeff and owns a 99 Firebird Ram Air with a few goodies under the hood, met him at a stop light and his mouth was running faster than a hooker at motel. I told him I wouldn't race here but if he would kindly follow me out to my spot I would do it. I maintained calm and collect during the whole the thing because I would rather let my action speak louder than my words. I also video taped this race as I had the camara in the car. To make a long story short I kicked his *** in a drag race and on the highway with my 87 Turbo and he had a "new found respect" for 944's. This was 3 year ago and now Geff and I are really good friends he just turned 21 last weekend and we had a great time at the bars. Next time this guy starts talking about your car start talking about his... oh wait he doesn't have one.... loser..

Tiff Nidel said the 944 Turbo is his favorite car from the 80's.
