I hope to be there, but will have to locate a helmet to borrow. A bunch of folks from the CSU car club are talking about going. If I go I plan to be drifting on the bald all seasons off of the parts car.

I thought you had to be a member of a club like SCCA. Does PCA count?

You're supposed to be a member of one of: PCA, BMW CCA, Mustang, Corvette, SCCA, Vintage, etc. Honestly, the times I've gone I don't remember having to prove that I was a CCA or PCA member...

Just a heads up -The free days are a great time but there are usually lots of cars there and little to no organization. It's a blast but probably not a good idea for a first time exposure to the track, it's a little wild and wooly for a first timer.

Hi Daniel - Sure and 2nd Creek would be a fun place to do it, always a big variety of cars at the free days. Need to double check with the boss (and the weather gods) as to which day.

I haven't run the 951 on the track yet so this might be a great opportunity to get a few laps in. I've got a couple of helmets so at a minimum I can take a passenger with me :-)

only thing I am worried about is crunching up my daily driver with all that traffic out there. I have never gone road racing before. (Just canyoning and autocross 2 times)

Everyone that goes out for the free days is careful.. noone wants to tear up their car.
I am going to be driving the white 91 GLI. I will def be there at noon.

I have a helmet but do not lend it out. It is still packing into my head so I prefer not
to have other melons in there screwing up my cushioning.

There are loaner helmets.. not sure how many. Last time I was there bob did not ask
if I was a member of any particular organization. Bob is good people. Just follow his rules
and keep it clean. I do have a place in Ft Collins.. couple of guys who help sponsor the track
that I claim to be with. Really good people. For the life of me I cannot remember their name
but I will get in touch with them to see if it is cool. Someone in here might know them.. They
race a gold BMW, one guy is named Mike and for the life of me I cannot remember the name
of the other guy. If it is someone on here.. my apologies. I suck at names.
