Very cool! Not sure I'd need that much electronics in my car, I prefer driving vs. watching dvds and messing with equalizers... but the job looks done right. What really caught my eye is the front bumper on that car! It looks like a modified euro bumper?? Anyone know if that is custom or not?

He's posted on here before, maybe search with the same user name. If I remember correctly he said it was made by gemballa but long since been discontinued.

Probably a dallas semiconductor A/D converter with a PCI interface. He probably wrote the linux driver (or modified it) to talk with the A/D card and take readings. I imagine he tapped into the DME harness to do this. I wonder if he knew what kind of information to gather - it seems like he has just plotted waveforms now. He could probably do a lot more than that with more time.
