I know the engine... So is it a drag or circuit? Drag they will be running 12's with 4WD and some boost, with low 1's 60ft. Circuit, you should do better. Whats the question exactly? I have raced a few mates in their modded EVO's. They kill me off the line, I catch up, but it takes a while.

I am curious as to how they stand up to each other. I have a awd 95, just wondering if I can take a 951.

You have a MK3 then if yours is a 95. Those are the heaviest of the bunch and suffer from the worst crank walk. I have plenty of friends with DSM's.

You wont be taking a stock later model 951. Maybe a 86....well...umm I dunno. Stock for stock from a roll I dont see you beating a 951. If you got some mods well then its a different story. I was pulling bolt on gsx's,gst's pretty easily when I was stock running with LBE. Ofcourse all the races were from a roll. From the line our cars suck.

stock for stock if he is running mechancially sound and you guys go from a roll I dont see you beating him. Now if you got some mods.....then sure.

By that same note...and bolt on 951 vs a bolt on dsm isint even a race. Ask me how I know.

BTW you should of posted this question in the turbo and turbo S board. Might get more replies from people who run the car you are asking about.

Also I suggest you change your board name if you want people to help you out.. You are insulting the very cars you are asking about on a board thats dedicated to them. I hope your name is just some kind of bad joke.

If not...your welcome to come and try to lay a beat down on me anytime.

43k & no crank walk symptoms(fingers crossed) I pulled away from a 350z pretty easily. I really would like to see how they stack up stock from a stop. I guess I should just go 951 hunting. So John, you took that eclipse pretty easily? Somebody should make a video encompassing the 951's muscles. can't be me, I have a slow n/a.

Beatdown... I aint trying to come down on you. Glad to hear your name is just a joke. If you are saying someone should make video's of 951's racing cars... lol....umm do a search in the 944 turbo and turbo S section under the name Porshhhh951 and see what you come up with.

From the line a 951 is horrible...so if you want to really have the advantage deffenetely race him from a stop. From a roll he's most likey got the advantage.

BTW the best DSM race I have had to date was a RS that a guy completely went through. Motor swap 20g,Motec m4,greedy,darton,JE,JG,Spearco,20psi,ect.ect.

I ran him on 16psi and pump gas(which is a lower setting for me) I pulled about 5-6 cars by 140 or so. I can't remember its been way too long. On a higher boost settng it would have been ugly. Nice running car though very clean. Love the mk3 body the best out of all of them.

My best friend runs a 1st gen GSX. I just dont want you to think I am making fun of you car in anyway. Quite the opposite I have plenty of respect for those guys. 90% of them do their own wreching like our community. Real tech heads that most of the time are far from ricers.

I agree with John. One of my best friends has a 1st DSM thats pretty quick. 2nd gen pistons, and some other bolt on mods. From a roll he's still mine, from a stand still... yikes, that thing rips off the line like there is no tomorrow.
