Most famous/recognizable 944 series pic?
After being on rennlist for over a year now, I've come across MANY different 944's, and cool or interesting pics of them shared by their owners or aficionados. Then I got to thinking, which photo(s) is (are) the most seen or best recognized on the forum?
You know, the ones that pop up from time to time and give us feelings of awe or a few giggles.
I thought of the 924 with the parking boot floating on a cement island for one, among a couple others...
What do you think?
PS Just got my renewed membership card in the mail today! Money VERY well spent, even in rough times for me...glad to be here!

Someone around here was using #7 as his avatar.
I very carefully asked if it was him in the picture - because if it was, that would be the best thing of all time! Unfortunately, it wasn't, so the search continues...

I'm in on the Boss GTR. It's soooo, well, so 80's. The phat phendered race car as an enitre billboard look seems to have evolved straight out of the late 70's early IMSA stuff. Think about how stunning it must have been for European works drivers, privateers and fans when Porsche suddenly backed away from the 904/6/8/10/17 family of prototypes and shows up at Lemans with a production based Index of Performance car. On our side of the pond we were used to that look by then, but not from Stuttgart.
