Thumbs up By George... I thnk he's got it.

Gentlemen (are there any lady posters?), been awhile.

I haven't posted in about 2 months, wanted to make (real) sure I was good to go before inserting foot in mouth.

Original problem- intermittent start.
Solution- after a bunch of trial and error, freakin' semi-loose ground wire on the firewall. Check those out for sure!

Original problem- engine revving up and down after warm up.
Solution- daggone idle was too high, not a vacuum leak at all.

Original problem- fuel rail leaking at weld.
Solution- floated some solder in there, seems to be holding.

That has been one month now, she's running good! Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for all the suggestions. Did I miss any BIG news?

Did I miss any BIG news?
Let's see................

I sold my car. Pete traded his in for a 1992 Nissan Maxima. UDPride got engaged to a Denny's waitress. Somebody posted on here asking how to bolt a turbo onto a 944.

I think that is about it.

John D. gave us all Carrera GT's, and we had a "944 bonfire across America" where we all burned our cars to the ground simultaneously.

Well, guess I got a collectors item then, only 944 in the US! Let's start the bidding at... 10,000?

Were there any 'unclaimed' Carrera's left? ;-)

LOL, nice humor

I'd say that car is a solid...600K

Now sell it and pick yourself up a CGT!

Did some guy named pete trade his car for a '92 Maxima? Funny, that is one of my other cars. A tricked out '92 Max that is faster and handles almost as good as the Porsche.
