Default shift lever transmission stuff

I replaced my shift lever with one out of another car that looked about perfect, but i still have some slop. What do I need to replace on the transmission side to tighten things up a bit?

The shift rod itself gets worn, where it mates the the levers "nub" thing. To cure that issue you need to do one of the bushing mods. If you do a search for "shifter bushings" or "brass bushing" itll turn up. Its also on FR Wilks site, he uses the brass method. This involved drilling out the shift rod a bit, then using a short length of brass pipe as a new bushing. The other method uses some small plastic bushings that were used on the 931 and are available at dealerships.

I used the brass method combined with a new shift lever and it really tightened things up.
