Thanks BEAB951 - I'll check the new DME after driving the car to work...A 45 min. ride or so. Also, one plus with the spare DME-when I put the spare in the glove compartment I stumbled onto two chips from the previous owner - An Autothority and a Weltmeister (?? WMS part#). I put the Autothority in.
