hey everyone, just putting the word out that there will be a get-together of car fans alike on december 6th at :

the guy who owns the place is on the evo boards and said he contacted the porsche club (or had a contact). anyway i heard nothing from that end so i thought i would get the word out. i guess he is giving discounts on coffee to anyone with the car people. time is 8 o clock so anyone interested just show up. i will be there with the EVO club but would love to see some porsches there. i know he mentioned something about the ferrarri club too, so if i see more ferrarris then porsches i will be thouroughly disapointed in all of you (except those with legit excuses).

Just take her there for coffee as a surprise for your anniversary. "Wow, I can't believe there are so many cool cars at this coffee shop!" Fun fun...


By the way, guys, I would come, but my wife WOULD kill me. Plus it's a 2 1/2 hour drive and I'm not real sure my 944 would make it...

Scott, when exactly will you be in Dallas?

I'm in town the following Sunday. My niece's husband is running in the Whiterock Marathon on Sunday and his running partner is only doing the half marathon so I'm running with him from that point to the end. We'll get in sometime Saturday night (my wife is doing an ultra-marathon, 31 miles, on Saturday or we'd be in sooner). I was thinking about going to TMS on Sunday to help a BMW guy at his SCCA school on the 5th, but that's looking less likely.

We are heading to Austin tonight, and will be staying ath the Driskill, so look for us on 6th Street this evening. From there, we will head back up to Dallas on Sunday, and will be hanging out in West End until Weds, then we are going to a resort/spa thing my wife wants to do on our anniversary. Thursday through Saturday, we will be in Ft Worth, staying at the Stockyards Hotel, so you can find us at Billy Bobs or Cadillacs, most lilkely... Driving back Sunday, unless we get bored or homesick for our dog and leave on Saturday instead.

Oh man, I was reading your message and kept thinking, "DAMN! So close." I'm going to be in Austin on Monday to help another Rennlister out.

BUT... We will be arriving in Grapevine on Saturday night after Kerry's ultra-marathon. Looks like that will work. I'm going to have to clear the time with family, but that shouldn't be a problem. Kerry will need a shower first before going out. Tentatively I'd expect us to be in town about 7:30-8:00. It will depend upon how quickly she and our coach finish. I hope this will work out.
