I would like to locate a junk 944na head so I can cut it apart in sections to look at what can be done with porting. Does anyone have one they would be willing to give me? I of course would pay you for your packaging and shipping.

I would also like to find a NA intake manifold cheap (or free, if possible). I would like to work on a different intake design and don't want to tear apart my perfectly running 944 yet...

All discovered information would be freely offered to the group.

I have a intake. What kind of time frame are you looking at before you will have info to share??
I would be willing to donate the intake, but I would like to know more about your plans.

Tod84944, Time frame would be relatively short. I have a machine shop so machining is not an issue.

What I am looking at doing is this. One company out there, whose name escapes me, has produced an intake for the 944 with individual throttle bodies for each cylinder. That is what I am thinking about doing. The difference is that I am looking at using throttle bodies from a superbike. Some of them are plenty large enough in diameter and relatively available at MC wrecking yards. I would need to adapt the TPS to it as well as some plumbing for the IAC motor.

Even if no HP is gained, I bet it would help with response and the cool factor would be good.
