We need to see more green 944's!!!
Go for the colour change man! Adventurine Green!!
Why don't people live a little and not repaint their cars the stock colour??? So long as you choose a Porsche colour, I think people should try out different colours...look at some of the nicest cars on this board!!! The one above, 944pete's, Lead Foot 944's...these colours update our cars too, and when someone asks how you found the colour, you can say "it's from a '96 996!"

I'm definately going for a color change. My car was originally a guards car that previous owners took to maaco and had painted black... I do not feel like going back to guards like everyone else. Right now its btw that color and new cobalt blue.

Not a highjack here, but it is amazing what some of the 1999-2000 996's are starting to go for...

After much debate on the 993 forum and much research on paintscratch.com, the car is Oak Green Metallic. This means that car has been repainted because Porsche quit using that color in 1993 and that is a 1996. I'm definately thinking about that, Adventuring Green, or new Cobalt Blue for my repaint... Any opinions???

I love the idea of repainting my car, possibly in another color (not that I dislike Kalahari), but the cost just seems too prohibative. Who wants to spend a few thousand when the market only gives us 4-8K for the whole car?
