Default Bilstein Escort Kits now ready

Finally. Paragon Products is pleased to announce we have the Bilstein Escort Cup Kits in stock and ready for delivery. Here's a link: Bilstein Escort Cup Kit

Fits 944 87-89, 944S, 944S2, 944 Turbo, 968

Complete 4-corner coil-over kit includes choice of spring rates and additional mounting hardware. Can be used with Original Equipment upper strut mounts and also with a choice of Aftermarket Adjustable Camber Plates.

Option 1: $1719.85

For use with Paragon Products style Adjustable Camber/Caster Plates. Kit will include Front and Rear Bilstein Escort Cup Height Adjustable Struts and Shocks. Included hardware: 2.5" Hypercoil springs for front, 2.25" Hypercoil springs for rear, spring perches.

Option 2: $1789.85

For use with Original Equipment upper strut mounts or Racer's Edge Adjustable Camber Plates. Kit will include Front and Rear Bilstein Escort Cup Height Adjustable Struts and Shocks. Included hardware: 2.5" Hypercoil springs for front, 2.25" Hypercoil springs for rear, spring perches.

Option 3: $2014.85

Includes Paragon Products Adjustable Camber/Caster Plates. Kit will include Front and Rear Bilstein Escort Cup Height Adjustable Struts and Shocks. Included hardware: Paragon Products Adjustable Camber/Caster Plates, 2.5" Hypercoil springs for front, 2.25" Hypercoil springs for rear, spring perches.

Option 4: $2288.85

Includes Racer's Edge Adjustable Camber Plates. Kit will include Front and Rear Bilstein Escort Cup Height Adjustable Struts and Shocks. Included hardware: Racer's Edge Adjustable Camber Plates, 2.5" Hypercoil springs for front, 2.25" Hypercoil springs for rear, spring perches.

Note 1: It is impossible for us to come up with a spring choice that will fit every racer's needs appropriately. If removing torsion bars, we can very generally recommend a front spring rate of 600 lbs/in matched with a rear spring rate of 700 lbs/in. If not removing torsion bars, we recommend you have a look at our technical discussion regarding effective spring rates to determine what rear spring should be matched to your choice of front spring rates: 924/944/968 Effective Spring Rate Information

Note 2: Paragon Products Adjustable Camber/Caster Plates lower the spring seat by approximately 1". This reduces the overall stroke of the struts by approximately 1". The Racer's Edge Adjustable Camber Plates are designed to leave the spring height as normal to prevent a reduction in the overall stroke of the strut. This can be important to consider when lowering your car for track use. Be sure you account for the appropriate amount of stroke required. Required stroke is dependant on intended use, spring rate and vehicle weight.

Note 3: The rear shocks included with this kit include upper and lower mounting bushings made of high-density rubber. The kit itself was not specifically designed to work without torsion bars. Though, we do know that many will do this. There are two risks we must warn you of. First, the rubber mounts are not really up to the task of race duty when the coil-over is being used as the only suspension device. Second, we highly recommend you upgrade the lower mounting bolt to account for the increased load. We recommend the Racer's Edge lower shock bolt. With our other race shocks, we include these. However, these strengthened bolts are 1/2" OD while the OE bolt is 14mm (slightly larger.) If you would like to use the Racer's Edge bolt you must first change at least the lower eye to use a 1/2" OD bolt.
Thanks!

I believe these can be custom valved to any rate you want but are not adjustable without revalving. Although Paragon does carry excellent adjustable Koni packages.

Bruce is correct. The Bilsteins are not adjustable for bump or rebound. Fronts are valved 600/190, rears are valved 565/218.
