Default anyone buy from american international racing?

i'm thiking of some spoiler parts for my 89 s2 and came across their ad in
panorama.. any recommendations or problems with them??

No problems here. I bought the 951 front splitter from them as did a bunch of others here.

Mine was damaged slightly in shipping but they were prepared to replace it. I ended up just keeping it because the damage was minor.

I was in the splitter group buy.

Splitter quality = excellent. I am very happy with it. Good value as well.

Service = Good. I asked if they could ship via anything BUT UPS. They tried the post office but told me the P.O. would not accept the splitter (too big). So they shipped UPS anyways which wound up costing me $90cdn in customs/brokerage fees when it should have been $20. small gripe.

I would order from them again... if I wasn't in the process of making my own 968 bridge / 968 turbo RS spoiler replicas. (which I will be making a few of BTW...)

how'd i miss the group buy??
how hard was the front splitter to install? did it need a lot of "tweaking" to fit properly??
looks like i have another winter project to add to my list.

i had the front bumper off, and it was super easy to install that way. bolts right up - but you have to drill the holes. easy peasy.

did you paint it body color or, i am thinking of a matte black to match the lower body valance??
