<< Stock Springs, Koni's on Full hard 245 or 255 upfront (I cant remember) and 265's in the rear. No rubbing here and I autoX'd my car 4 or 5 events at the end of last season. Granted I have aftermarket fenders.

There were a couple of magazine articles that said they were able to rub the stock Turbo and TurboS side-skirts on the ground under cornering. They were also able to rub the front tyres on the fenders in tight corners, etc... The rubbing already exists in stock trim. What you can do is make modifications to reduce it, like stiffer suspension, increased offset, fender-lip grinding/rolling, etc.

FWIW, I'm running 255/40-17 & 275/40-17 tyres with 17x10.5 & 11.5" wheels with zero rubbing in front and minor rubbing in rear at +80% compression. Once I get 1" wider fenders, I'll be able to run a 275/315 tyre combo. Don't like the looks of 2" wider fenders though, the shoulders are too flat rather than sloping downwards like the stock fenders.

255/40-17 on 9", 275/40-17 on 10". The correct offset is the key. I'll know tomorrow how well they fit on the NorCal Run. Oh boy, new tires+rain, should be fun, eh?
