Default PRICE REDUCED!!! 1991 944 S2 Cariolet 4-Sale

Well guys, it is time for me to leave the Porsche family for a little while. No hard luck story...I am just tired of a Convertible for a while and I found a really great deal on another car. I don't drive that far to work anymore anyhow. If your interested let me know via email as I don't check the boards as often as I used to. Here's the link to my car.

Holy crap that is one sweet car...I really want an S2 cab one day, and you've got alot of cool upgrades in that thing...
Can we see some more pics? Interior etc?
And what's your new car? (Don't worry I won't flame, just curious)

I don't have any other pictures of my car yet but I am going to take some over Thanksgiving weekend so I can post them. The interior is in very good to excellent condition except for the driver's seat. The leather is cracking. There are no holes in the leather and no dash cracks.

Max,

I shot you an email the other day. One last "hoor-rah" before you sell the S2 by making it to RennStock maybe?

Wow, very nice car! Looks to be in great shape, and the price is very good. I won't be in the market for another P-car until spring, but best of luck with selling yours.

Max,

Sorry to see you letting the S2 Cab go, but I'm sure the replacement is going to be worthwhile, or you wouldn't!

Guys, I already have 2 cabs so I'm not looking to buy another, but if anyone is considering a 944 Cab, this would be it. Great condition and maintenance history by a true enthusiast.

Good luck with it!

Thanks for the encouragement and validation of my car fellas. I really appreciate it. The car is in great shape and I have been posting on this board for almost 4 years so a lot of people should be able to vouch for the work that I've done. Most of the work was documented on this board because I had to ask a question about something or I was answering a question to a problem that I had already encountered.

Luis, I am being kind of a traitor with my new car...I'm getting a Corvette Z06. Damn is that thing fast and it actually corners and stops well. I was shocked. Now I know how and why the 944 turbo guys get "hooked" on more horsepower. 405 hp and 400 ft-lbs of torque will definitely put a small on your face.

I do hope someone from this board buys my car. I would like to see it go to a good home. I might even consider a special discount for Rennlisters.

Damn, that is a fine looking Porsche. If I was not at the extreme opposite of the country I would be checking your ride out. I am always looking at Porsches and have some $. Do not need another Porsche, but sometimes the sun does shine in the Northwest, and I love putting the top down. Good luck with your sale. Enjoy the horsepower of your new ride.

Max, I emailed the link to my neighbor who is in the market for a S2 or 968 cab. Perhaps you will hear from him in the coming days.

Max, best of luck in selling that fine example of an S2 cabriolet. Wow, it is gorgeous! As to the addictive effect of horsepower, now you know.... However, there is something else that we 951 owners crave, as well: boost! There is nothing like all of those horses coming to life all at once! Enjoy your new toy!

Best of luck, but I have to point out that you're engaging in a mistake that I see a lot of people doing on here from time-to-time: you're trying to unload a fairly specialized car that appeals to a very specific and limited market / demographic in short order and expect people to have nine or ten THOUSAND dollars cash on hand to just spend implusively on such a thing. Not a good idea. You're probably scheduling yourself out of the market and even if you find an interested party, they're going to take advantage of your desparation and you'll get far less than the car is worth. You've already had to drop your price once. . . See what I mean? Best advice is to take your time, get your ads out there, put an ad out that says "$10,000 firm" or whatever and wait. You'll get it eventually.

I'd never sell a car like this on short order, I've seen the people that wait get far more. Plus it opens up time for the prospective buyers to make necessary bank / insurance / DMV arrangements. I don't think there are too many people that can just write a check for $9,000 or $10,000 for a 15-year-old car!
