On my 87 924S, I have spark, pressure at the fuel rail, but the injectors are not firing. They are seeing 12V. What conditions have to be met before they will fire?

did this just start? check speed/ref sensors, allen bolts on flywheel, then suspect DME..

Just starting doesn't really apply to this one, car was sitting for 3+ years, were workin on resurrecting(sp?) it...suspecting dme, but what needs to happen before teh dme can put out teh signal to fire?

Unplug one of the injectors and try to start it.
