Question Help needed with light kit (Ice Shark) installation

Hello People,

I'm going to be installing my lighting upgrade kit that I got from Ice Shark soon. About a month ago, I remember a posting that had an installation guide with pics. I've searched with no luck. Does anyone know of this link or have the guide. Thanks a million.

Sincerely, Lee

You're right, I can't find it search either...luckily I saved it cause I knew someday I'D need it. PM me and I'll email it to you.

If anyone wants to host it or knows how to get it up on a tech manual somewhere, let me know.

I wrote a tutorial on the IceShark battery upgrade wires. A user named "elf..?" has it hosted on his site. I'm still in the process of doing the writeup for the lights. What info are you looking for specifically?

This is the link: Iceshark battery writeup

Lee, Andre is your only hope on the headlight kit with extensive pictures and writeup and there is no way he will get that done by Thanksgiving.

There are some other pictures on web sites but nothing dedicated to the headlight install. You may be thinking about Ribs' writeup but that was purged from Rennlist when John D. did one upgrade or another.

Since you have a S2 the alternator won't be too tough. That pretty much leaves routing the harness in nice curves for the headlight buckets. I explained that in the instructions. After you fiddle with routing and flipping the buckets up and down a couple times it will all come together. Just get some extra cable ties, tie things down, watch, cut the cable ties and move a bit, watch, and then it is magically done!

Thanks Andre! This is it! Over the weekend, I looked under the hood and my heart sank. I noticed all the wires are hidden in some way or another. I didn't know exactly what I was looking at. This is really going to help me.

Thanks Dan for the help as well.

Yeah, Danno lifted those pics from Rennlist so they are at least stored somewhere else if something ever happens here.

They are from two different Rennlisters that did different installs. One with some Cibie lenses, 90/100 watt H4s on stock wiring and the adjustable voltage regulator. Those are the pics from Northern California.

MTM, did the FullBoat with wiring harness, etc. Those are the most dramatic. His original pics and thread are still around here:

I swear, I didn't do anything to cook those pictures up.
