haha, have you SEEN the US bumper? Its so awkward.... my first 944 was a Euro model, so I really took the bumper for granted until I bought my 951. But I will say this much, the 951 rear bumper has saved my butt a couple times from a costly fender bender... I'm going to have to be a lot more cognizant when I put this Euro one on...

I have seen the US bumper (there are quite a few US cars in Norway) and I understand why you want to replace it with a Euro bumper. I was just being mean.

Why don't you just bid on it? It's only twenty-seven quid at the moment!
He's parting out quite abit at the moment.

You need euro rear bumper shocks, they are much shorter than the US-spec shocks. XSBOOST90 did have a spare set of custom alu brackets that were the proper length that could be used in place of shocks, you might want to PM him to see if he still has them.........

Mine has an all black interior with Ruby red - it's not a bad combinatino at all.

Also: I will be making a mould of the euro bumper once I get it.. so if anyone wants a fibreglass one, let me know.

I could also fill the inside of the fibreglass replica with foam (the expanding, hardening kind you find in Home Depot) to aid with very low speed collisions.

I might be interested. A couple suggestions might be to make the part both "with" and "without" the hole for attaching the rubber strip and to consider making a "reinforced version." you could easily laminate some form of structural reinforcement, a piece of foam core or aluminum angle stock would be much stronger than "spray foam" and would add a lot of strength for very little cost (or weight).

Hi Mills,
I think it may look too dark given that
the exterior color is of a darker shade.
Anyway, we'll see.

Thanks again
