Default Have you checked your brake pedal pad lately?

My S2 has around 147K miles and while vacuuming the interior I noticed the brake pedal pad was cracked right where the shoe sole hits it at an angle. So I replaced it and now it feels more grippy when I push the pedal.

Out of curiosity, I checked the pedal on my 951, which has around 67K miles, and wouldn't you know it, it was cracked in the same place too! Replaced it as well and thought I'd mention it here.

Funny! Mine was cracked in the same manner at 84K miles, I just replaced mine last weekend and it is much better now. It was kind of a pain to get the new one on though, I had to end up warming it up with a hairdryer (it was a cold day Sunday when I did it).
