Default Where to get a slim 24mm (15/16) wrench?

Anyone know where I can get 24mm wrench with a slim head, like a tappet wrench for example? I'm changing my oil pressure sender, but I can't seem to get my craftsman wrench quite around it. It looks like I'll just buy a cheapo wrench and grind it down, but I figured I'd ask first just in case there's one easily availible. And yes I know snap on and mac make them, but the $40 - $50 price is a bit out of the question for me right now.

I like nice quality tools, but for something that will only see very limited use I say buy a cheap wrench and grind it down.

Another alternative is a bike shop. A lot of the wrenches they use have a very thin profile just like what you want. Don't know about cost though.

Go buy a no name 15/16" wrench, cut it in half and grind it a bit thinner. Thats exactly what i did for mine, and i didnt even have to grind it all that thin.

I was going to suggest using tools for a bicycle also, but having worked in a bike shop for nearly a decade I couldn't think of anything that required a 24mm wrench. I know Park Tools doesn't make anything like that. Mostly 30, 32, 36 and 40mm headset wrenches or much smaller, say 13 to 20mm cone wrenches.

I say buy cheap and grind like others have suggested.

I bought a set of Crowsfeet, those worked great and let me get the proper torque on there too.

Thanks guys, I couldn't find it on the paragon site, so I'm off to a bike shop that's around the corner, and then to an auto place to buy a cheapo.

On my NA, which, to my understanding, has a lot more clearance in this area, I used a Craftsman 6" adjustable wrench. I sent that information to Clark @ Clark's Garage so he could update the procedure (so that NA people don't mess with the PS pump when they don't have to).

Don't forget to have a new crush washer on hand! My new sender didn't come with one.

I actually went to get the crush washer from pep boys a couple of days before the sender can, and when it arrived it had the washer. Thanks Paragon!
