Porsche-O-Phile:
"How did you have a cop on your left and turn left in front of him and not get nailed for that?"
Allow me to clarify: We were stopped at a four way stop, at night. I got there first. There was a car on my left, stopped, waiting for me to go. I signalled left, turned, accelerated, and then saw that it was a county sheriff's car. I was doing less than thirty when I let off the gas. Boxsters throw a lot of engine noise out the left side air intake, which is why I think he pulled me over.
pcarfan944:
"Doesn't sound like harassment to me, you broke the law twice in front of a police officer."
I didn't know accelerating up to the speed limit was illegal, although apparently it is. My tires were neither smoking nor screeching. The second time, my point is, I *did* fail to use a signal. I *did not* fail to stop. Instead of citing me for something that I did, he cited me for something that I did not do.
(BTW, I have no idea how to use quotes the way you guys do.)

I was issued a ticket for disobeying a stop sign. I was the third car in line, so I had to stop. I failed to signal when I did get up to the sign and turn.
I was issued a citation that I am not guilty of, and *not* issued a citation for something that I was guilty of. Why should I have to pay for something I did not do?

He probably just doesn't like you, man. I mean they are human.
You need to make friends with at least one SENIOR cop at the department. Life is very good when you do this, trust me.
