Default Really weird problem between 2k and 3k rpm

This just started today. As im driving, when the revs reach 2krpm (say leaving a light) the engine will "hang" or pause at 2k, then drop down. Its almost like the engine stops for a split second, then starts going as it drops below 2krpm. This will happen between 2 and 3krpm, up to 2k and above around 2.8-3k its fine, boosts fine, idles fine, just peachy. But as soon as the revs are between 2 and 3k, its like it falls flat on its face and wont go. To leave a light I have to stamp the throttle for it to make it past the dead zone and up to 4krpm or so, and burn the clutch to get moving.

When it hits that dead area of the RPM range, there arent any backfires or really any noise at all, its like the engine just pauses for a second then goes again. Itll even pause AT 2krpm for a split second then it comes alive and the rpm drops.... It got worse as the morning went on. Early it would only do it a little bit, wouldnt pause as long or would only do it once. Then on the way home, did it every light, every time the RPMs neared that voodoo spot...

I have already checked the TPS connector, AFM connector, plug wires, injector wires and speed and reference sensor connectors. Vacuum is fine as well.

Only thing that is out of the norm is the fuel pressure gauge is around 80PSI at IDLE I dont know if the gauge is just buggered or if there is actually that much fuel pressure. It idles fine

Can anyone think of what this might be? Im going out to start looking it over more. Only things ive done recently are change the spark plugs, and I didnt change the brand or anything, it has NGK BPR7ES plugs in there now, had them before and ran fine. I will check the gap later as well, I remember I gapped the first set but didnt gap these...

theedge: Try adjusting the TPS first since it is rpm related before replacing the TPS, here is a link just in case:http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/fuel-06.htm
