OK Rock- maybe you didnt get the area code right..

Pull the positive and negative battery cables off and clean them with 400 grit sandpaper and reattach. Try to start.

Pull off the main ground to the chassis (battery box) an the supplementary tothe intake manifold. Clean and reattach.

Pull the starter cable and clean thoroughy (DISCONNECT THE BATTERY POSITIVE FIRST!) and reattach.

this will rule out the main grounds and power. Your coil may have crapped out too- do you have any spark?

Ok guys. This is what happened.

The mysterios Coil to Cap wire got wrapped in the headlight bar SOMEHOW. Which is why the headlights wouldnt flip up. Then i tried to flip it down which snapped it. I just put a replacement on and headed home. That was easy.

If the coil wire is at the wrong angle the lever for the headlight motor will pull the coil wire right off.

Glad she's back alive Rock!

I think I was the last one under that hood and it should have been golden, I always point the coil wire down to keep it safe. Rock, you been swapping coils around again?? You get the yellow car going yet?

Lol andy you got me. I swapped that old Boschy with the MSD while the yeller was down. No i didnt get it running. Ive been working and aside from that cant find ANY tools. The pump is halfway on, I just never took the time to search for a wrench to loosen the fitting. Also, the fuel line is cracked to all hell so im gonna hit up autozone for about a foot or so of fuel line so i can fix that.

Oh yeah i think i need a new transmission soon. Mine is doing what the old one was doing before it went (make weird noises, clunking when going into gear). I didnt burnout or anything this time around, although I think the bald tires in the rain might have had something to do with this. Sometimes one wheel spins and the other doesn too. Like when its wet, the left wheel stays normal, while the right wheel spinds like a monkey on crack.

Well, I guess we can rule out the highly coveted LSD option! Limp it along till 'Fest 05 and we can have a replay!

i dont think it can make it that long, whenever its raining and i give it even the slightest bit too much gas, the whole car slides to the right and the tranny clanks like a monkeys uncle

We should start a post "What hasn't gone wrong with the Rock's car yet" and make bets on what is coming in the near future.
