Can you get a side profile shot and one from straight on? I want to see how low it hangs and how it looks from the side. From that profile, I can honestly say I WANT ONE!!

Not only does that look cool, but it might hide the big chunk out of my front valence. I'll have to have you look at that next time you see my car. Hopefully I can get a look at this project in person on Monday night. Seeya,

Eric

Dude, just tell me when and where to send the check and how much. I want one of these for my race car. How long until you'll have them available and how do I get first in line?

Looks great. Hell, I'll probably have to order a second one for a back-up once all the initial orders are filled.

Ok guys, Great I guess by your reactions I am on the right track...I guess all I can do now is move forward on this then....I will be sure to post some more pics of it tonight, there was a little bit of a dust issue with my camera lastnight...I will take pics of it from head on and low, to give you a better idea of how low it goes, and its low. I will also include pics of it from the sides, I have to yet finish some sanding on them yet tonight but should finish those up tonight...The total drop is 2 inches exactly from under the stock valance lip..

THe overall shape of the spoiler will be like batwing style of the Turbo ones, as this to me makes the spoiler much stronger, and then provides many different locations for mounting also...

And as far as me making these for everyone else...Well I would love to, but this is my first time trying to work with fiberglass, etc....As long as everything works out the way its suppose to, I was thinking of maybe producing a limited amount, as I cant exactly make 100's of these out of my garage, and I also found out that the resins and cloths arent exactly cheap either, which does add to the cost a bit..But again if things go well, then I would consider buying some resin and cloth in bulk to help drive down the cost for everyone.....Bottom line, I would love to just quit my job and start my own shop making custom 944 parts...Now that would be nice....And thanks again very much guys for the compliments...

Oh and my paint code is LM3V with a hint of pearl ( Sikkens ).....I think thats everyones questions I answered then....?

Oh and the way the chin spoiler just brings out the wide fender lines to the bottom of the car is amazing...! It just makes the front end look so bad ***, because it makes the car look so much wider from the front...I tried to have the chin spoiler be inspired by existing body lines, or just try to compliment them....

If you dont want to make them, you should make an extra one and sell it to someone or a company to make a mold from. Charge alot upfront, or have them pay royalties each time one is sold. There seems to definately be a market!

TEASE!

Looks like I'm back to making my own. That said, I don't blame you for not doing a production run of them. It's a lot of work, especially if you don't have all the specialty equipment to do it. I probably wouldn't make a production run of whatever I produce either. You might want to look into having a local composites place make them for you to sell though. Just a thought.

Ya man, there IS a market...if all goes well, I'm definitely in! Curious, how does it attach to the stock valence, and is installation reversible without seeing holes or anything from attaching the lip? Thanks.

On mine, the clearcoat started pulling away from the paint about 2 years ago and I haven't had the money to have it painted. It looks aweful, but mainly on the roof and the hood. Was your paint like that before you painted it? I've been doing other work to get it running right instead of body work - I figure no one will steal it like it is now.

And yes installation I am hoping wil be reversable....Im hoping to use the stock mountings on the lower sides of the valance, and along the under side belly pan.....Along with some custom made brackets to attatch to other stock lower valance mounting points....To be honest with you guys I really would love to make these for you guys, and a full write up will also be in order following this on how to step by step with pics so you guys could make your own also......But i will try to make a couple at least....
