My P-CAr In the freshly Remodeled Garage.....

Nice garages! I barely have room to open both doors in my narrow 1-car nightmare!
And...Tom--Even your tire treads are clean! Love the look of the shiny red with phone dials!
I gotta get me a set of 16" phone dials...maybe to use as winter wheels or something. I love the way our cars look with them!

Tom, Any larger pix? I am planning a complete garage redo in the Spring and I like your work benches...I think. Are they store-bought or did you make them your self? Hard to tell from the small shot to posted. Very nice work by the way.

Got the jack at Sam'S CLub for $130....Its very nice, double pump, alluminum, and the lowrider feature is very nice, for jacking those extra low P-Cars....The main reason I purchased this jack is because I became sick of having to drive on blocks of wood to raise my car enough so I could get a jack underneath it...Now I just roll it right under there, 5 pumps and she is up there.....I was looking at the crewlines on E-BAy and I never saw one for under $200....So I thought it was a good deal...

You may notice a very similar jack in the corner of my garage. Got mine for the exact same reason. I got mine at Harbor Freight. Can't remember the price, but I remember it seemed dirt cheap at the time. Been working fine for two years.

Brett, YOu working tonight...? And the Jack is a twist type to release, and as far as the speed going down, well that depends on how much you turn the release.....It does not tend to crash down though....And did I mention It weighs so little....

I just picked up that Craftsman myself... it's not "light" but it definitely works well and looks the part! Brandname decent, or other brand "super cool" for more $? Dunno what I'd do as I needed a Jack that day!

Damian,
Looks great! I'd like to drop by and check out your new house sometime. Are you going to be working on the car or garage tonight? I'm going to be in the area around 8. If it works for you PM the address and what sort of malt beverage you prefer so I can bring a housewarming gift. Otherwise we'll do it another time. Seeya,
Eric
