Default Serious Radiator Descaling

I've finally opinned down my overheating propblems to a partially blocked radiator.

I've tried back flushing and using a commercial rad flush/decaler - doesnt seen to have had any effect.

I'm thinking of putting in neat white vinigar next and leaving iot for a week (just in rad).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

(I also seen on the list that in USA you can get your radiator "tanked" - what is that?)

I think tanking is when they drop the Rad in a tank of hot chemicals and let it sit. The chemicals are the type of stuff that if you stick your hand in it the only thing you will have left is the bone

You should be able to take it to a radiator shop to have it ultrasonically cleaned. I plan to do this over the winter and I have heard it is quite effective.
