Other than the cross member, the rest is a bolt on/swap. Since you have both cars there, why not go for it? The 924 chassis is fairly light. It'd make a great sleeper. Remember to swap the suspension as well.

Dmitry: Thanks.. that's appreciated. My "site" isn't much, but I try. Later I'd like to beef up my Excellence section; and one day I'd like to have a complete library of all the 944 related tech sessions from that mag.

Re: the 924, I'm sure the factory did some drilling and welding to get that engine in there, just like what we have to do...

BTW: there was a guy on Craigslist.org a week ago who was selling a '81 931 with a 944 engine in it ('83). It was in various stages of modification and he only wanted 1500.00. Wish it were still up, but it looks like the ad expired. Would have been interesting to get the guy on here to tell us what he did...

deni that guy has an ad in the classifieds section on 924board.org. The whole thing is supposedly together except for some wiring loose ends.
