Have you diagnosed what the problem is, or are you just guessing? How does the motor work?

Don't guess. You may just waist your money. Like I said before, test the relay with a 12V power supply. If it checks out, check the motor for the headlamps. If you wind the wheel on the motor while the battery is connected to the car, the motor will automatically go through a cycle. That will check out the motor or you could just hook a 12V power supply to the motor and watch it go. Check the fuses again. There are more than one fuse for the headlamps.

how do you wind the motor? I assume you have to take off all the rubber coverings?

it's only one rubber covering. the motor is covered by a boot on the back of it. just grab the top of the boot and wiggle it till it comes off. the **** you have to turn will be obvious when the boot comes off. if you don't see what i mean, let me know and i'll take a picture of it

I'm sure pep boys has it, it's a very common automotive relay, like the horn relay for most VW's and Audi's. However if you pull the rubber boot off and give the manual **** a spin and the headlights start moving, the relay is OK.

Someone told you how to do that in this thread several days ago.

However one of those relays they use for aftermarket fog lamp kits is the same too, it just usually has a plastic case with a mounting tab that might get in the way. You can probably cut that off and save three bucks.

I'm finally getting back to this and the local parts stores are like special ed when it comes to this part.

141951253B is a 40Amp relay and the one from my car is 111943383C and is a 12v 10A part.

I can find 141951253B online to buy but I can't find my part online to buy or at an auto store.

Any ideas?

I ordered the part from (111943383C)

www.autopartswarehouse.com

They had my exact part number and it was ~ $10 plus ~ $5 shipping.
