so in the process of rebuilding, i've investigated the oilpan baffle issue. paragon products has reassured me i have the updated oilpan baffle based on my VIN number of WP0AA0943HN451817. can anybody verify this to be correct?

apparently the updated baffle part # is 944.107.389.03. correct? i'll check when i remove the oil pan to redo the seal i left out

 

Are you saying that the baffle was also a stock update????? wow i had no idea. Were there any years that came stock with it?

 

well, my understanding is the later baffle was an improvement over earlier baffles, and you can install the later one in an earlier oilpan.
