Default '86 Turbo runs hot

Trying to sort out cooling issue. It heats to the top white line (or just above) when is sits or in stop and go traffic. Was heating almost to red until I found the expansion tank cap was leaking. I have replaced the temp gauge sensor, temp fan sensor (w/cooler unit), and tested with other good relay. Fans appear to be cycling as they should. System holds pressure, 10 psi for 5 minutes. Thanks.

You might need a new thermostat...new waterpump...
You have enough coolant, and all hoses are going to the right place and all clamps are tight? That's about all I can think of...

Due to the pressure test, im assuming there are no leaks. Is the system bled properly? It could be a partially stuck thermostat, a clocked radiator, bad waterpump, or you may just need new coolant.

Or it could be bad grounds. My temp guage did that until I added an extra ground strap between the front of the engine and the front left frame rail.
