1- Underneath the drivers side door there is a small rubber hose that just ends. Does this go to something ? It used to be held in place to screws by these weird look ties that mount to the underbody, anyone know where I can find these? b/c now its being held in place by bread ties (thanks to the PO)

2- The 944 really rumbles and shakes at idle ONLY when Cold outside and engine is cold. WHat could it be ?

I'll take a shot at #1. I believe this is one of the drains on the car (there are a number of them). Can't recall if it's the A/C condensation drain or one of the body drains... Perhaps someone else knows for sure. In any case, my '88 had the same hose.
