Question where do i plug this vaccume line?

ok, I put my intake system back togeather, but not im not sure aobut 2 vaccume lines. they both lead to the same sensor...

Start at the front of the fuel rail and there is a vaccume line from the fuel dampner. The line splits and one line goes to the stock blow off valve, the other and the one in question, to a sensor at the left of the cycling valve. The sensor has a red outlet and a black outlet. currently, i have the line from the fuel dampner pluged into the red outlet of the sensor.

question is, does it matter which line is plugged into the sensor, i may have reversed them when i put everything back together.

let me know if I can be more descriptive or post an image

thanks,
-john

This is on a turbo, but hopefully it will help. I think you are talking about the Thermovalve.

well, the document says that it bypasses the temp valve because it not necessarily needed? what i gather from that remark, i assume it doesnt matter if I have them in backwards? the document doesnt say.

I bypassed the thermo valve in that write up because one of the nipples broke on me. I am pretty sure i said where the lines run though. It is used for emissions, and i believe it is only active at startup.

Oh and i dont notice any difference.

the valve is there so the carbon canister doesn't purge until the engine is at operating temp. This is done so that the ecu can use the signal from the O2 sensor to trim the mixture to compensate for the additional fuel from the canister.
