After removing and reinstalling the DME on my 87S today I started blowing DME fuses. First it would start once then blow, no second start. Then I drove it for about 30 min. shutoff in the middle and restarted. NowIt's blowing the fuse WITH THE IGNITION OFF..
Ideas anyone? and naturally I have to go to work right now.

bad grounds?? maybe a power transistor is going as welll.
Not blowing fuses without a direct ground- maybe an interior ground bundle need some cleaning attention.
clean off grounds and apply dog snot, uh, I mean dielectric grease..

I bought my son a non-running 924S and was under the mistaken impression that the DMEs would interchange. I have been testing some of his questionable parts on my car.
I have screwed it back into place and now it seems to be done blowing fuses.
