Does it work well? Is it as easy to install as it sounds?

Yes, if the window channel is reasonably clean (otherwise it detects the friction of dirty channel as an "obstruction" and stops), and yes, toughest part is running ground wires into the body and attaching them to the factory star ground point.

I have the Autoloc units installed and wonder why I didn't do it sooner. Regardless of which unit you choose, it's worth the convenience you gain.

And it's pretty easy to install...
