Default Thinking of SFR exhaust? This might help (sound/vid)...

Another sound clip of a 3" SFR "header-back" exhaust on a 968 motor.

Enjoy! More to come later (action clips as well, if I can find anyone to hold the camera while I drive...)... Dave?

Sounds fantastic. Is the muffler on SFR exhausts the unit made by Fabspeed, or is it built in house?

Epic, not sure. It says something on the muffler but I never bothered to read it. I don't think the muffler is actually made by SFR in house.

Tony, hitting an on ramp at full throttle is ridiculously fun. Should be illegal.

Cyrus, I'm going to try to get some quality vid of running through the gears. I'll post it when I do.

Glad you guys like it. It will probably get toned down some as it is just too loud for a street car. But it's fun while it lasts...

I bet it is loud! It sounds like it clipped the camera's mic.

Is that clip with a testpipe installed or with a cat? Cause I have the SFR 3" which the volume of it is just where I like it and Im thinking of getting a testpipe too but I dont want it to get too loud.

Doesn't SFR simply use the Dynomax bullet muffler?

serge944, i have the sfr exhaust on my S and the muffler says bullet on it. can't find dynomax anywhere on it, though. i didn't ask for a specific muffler when I ordered, so I got the default choice.
it is a very loud set up, but i still like it.

I don't think it's the Dynomax bullet muffler, but you guys that have would know better. According to the Dynomax website this is what the bullet looks like:

I know the SFR muffler is loud, but that looks like it would be very very loud.

This is a pic of the SFR one from their website:

With a little digging around on the Dynomax site I did find this:

It looks substantially more like the SFR one (minus polishing), and judging by the file name it may also be called bullet, but I didn't see that name for it on the website.
