Talking Couple of easy questions?

I found out that I need to fix the reverse lights. I found out that the switch is bad how do I change it and where can I get a new one? Also where is the how to rebuild the shifter for the 944? Thanks ahead of time.

If the pin that connects the shifter to the shift rod is bad, then replace the shifter. If the plastic bearing at the bottom of the shifter is bad, then replace the bearing. IIRC Travis has one.

The rev light switch is mounted on the tranny and just unscrews. Your best bet is somebody like 944ecology for a used one.

I remember reading a while ago about fixing the pin on the shifter by cuttin that one off and putting a harded bolt in there.
