Default Anyone know Ben McDaniels ???

Hey, way back in the stone-age, when this site was PorscheFans, there was a cool link to a site made by Ben McDaniels that listed all the Porsche models and their specs. Parts of it has been mirrored by the St. Louis PCA here: http://vista.pca.org/stl/models.htm

The stuff that's not listed is the GaugePages with top-speed pictures of the gauges, news, etc. Does anyone know the whereabouts of Ben today???

try using the Way Back Machine on the original URL at http://www.archive.org. You might be able to pull up some old versions. We use this alot in my IP/Internet Justice Clinic to find the content of sites before they received Cease & Desist letters.

I emailed him about 3 years ago... I caught the nick "Whaletail" on a racing sim forum, and it was him!

That was the website that cemented my ambition to buy a 944 turbo no matter what. That site was pure pro-Porsche propaganda. It's a shame the Porsche lawers forced him to shut it down.

I think the WHOLE site as it was backed up on multiple sites, but now I can't find it anywhere.

I misread the title. I thought this was the "Best McDonald's" thread..

My vote is Oakbrook, Il. for best Mickey D's btw..the only corporate owned store. You can get McSushi there.

That is a great resource, I remember it as well. Some of the links are dead, but a lot is there.

Ok, I found a complete archive at the Russia Porsche Club site:

http://www.porsche-club-moscow.ru/porsches

I was searching for the GaugePages.. Time to archive this great treasure of info before the Porsche attourneys get to them...
